Just got this diffuser the other day and finally had time to give it a test. I took a couple photos of an object with just ambient (overcast) outdoor light coming through a window.
Overall I’d say it works fairly well. The instructions on putting on the flash are a little sketchy to me. Could just be me. Here are the results.
Update 12/19: I have used this a couple more times and while I like the results I don’t enjoy the struggle that ensues trying to put this thing on the flash. I do really like that it flattens out for easy storage in my bag but it’s a pain to attach. Probably just me though.
Update 01/13/2008: I have gotten used to attaching the Origami to the flash and I no longer have any difficulty. It’s just one of those things you have to get used to. Just takes a few seconds to do.

Check it out at Amazon.com (plus read my review at Amazon):
Gary Fong Origami Diffuser – Fold Flat Flash Diffuser
Update 05/30/2008: I use the Origami every time I use my flash. It’s so easy to leave in the bag, easy to attach and easy to use. I never leave home without it!
Edit: Until it broke, now it never leaves home. This product is a little too fragile for a heavy user like me. Too bad, it worked very well.
